Glen Bressner has been a partner with the Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds since its founding in 1985.  The firm presently manages four venture capital partnerships and maintains offices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Reston, Virginia.  Upon completing his MBA, he began his career as a venture capitalist when he joined Key Venture Capital Corporation, a small business investment company, and opened its Boston office in 1984. 

 

As Chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group (now MAC Alliance)  in 1996-1997, Glen conceived and organized the first GPVG Venture Institute.  He is responsible for MAVF investments in International Quantum Epitaxy (LSE: IQE plc), Innovative Solutions & Support (NASDAQ: ISSC), Access Health (NASDAQ: ACCS, acquired by HBO and Company), Ravisent Technologies (NASDAQ: RVST, formerly Quadrant International), AnyTime Access (acquired by Digital Insight, NASDAQ: DGIN), UltraCision (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), MicroE Systems (acquired by GSI Lumonics, NASDAQ: GSIG) and CareGain (acquired by Fiserv).

Glen holds a BSBA, cum laude, from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College.
