Rich is a Partner in Chartwell BanCapital Fund I, LP, a private equity fund focused on the creation and investment in de novo banks. During 2005, Rich served as a consultant during the creation, funding and start-up of Team Capital Bank and led the effort to analyze and formulate Team Capital’s ancillary business strategy. During 2001, Rich served as the CFO of OraSure Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSUR). From 2001 until 2005, Rich served as the Vice President of Finance of OraSure, with emphasis on the development of long term and tactical strategy, implementation of business objectives, and financial analysis and modeling. From 1996 until 2000, Rich served as the CFO of the predecessor company to OraSure, STC Technologies. In 2000, in a transaction valued at $255 million, STC merged with Epitope and formed OraSure. From 1993 until 1996, Rich served as a Vice President of Corporate Lending for PNC Bank in Allentown, Pennsylvania. From 1985 until 1993, Rich was employed by First Valley Bank in various roles, including Corporate Lending Officer, and was instrumental in the founding of their Asset Based Lending Group. Rich has a BA in Accounting from Moravian College and MBA from Lehigh University.
